May 2018 to Present: Paper Conservator
Preventive and interventive conservation: surveys, proposals, treatment protocols, project management and reporting; paper, parchment and books full treatments and documentation; mounting and housing; exhibitions and loans preparation; volunteer staff, students and public members training and supervision; social media and public engagement. Projects carried out  mainly for UCL Special Collections but also for the Slade School of Fine Art, the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies – SSEES, UCL Art Museum, UCL Archives.

February 2018 to May 2018: Paper Conservation Volunteer
Preventive conservation, surface cleaning, repairs and enclosures, in preparation for digitisation of architectural drawings.

June 2016 to August 2016: Paper Conservation Volunteer
Survey of the University College Hospital photographic collection (800 items), based upon the National Preservation Office in London standards/methods. The output of this survey provided stratified preventive and interventive priorities and differentiated scenarios according to allocation of time and/or budgets.

October 2015 to June 2016: Paper Conservation Intern
Preventive conservation, surface cleaning, repairs and enclosures, partly in preparation for digitisation on several paper and books collections including other materials such as silk, metals and wax seals: the Bentham papers, the Pearson papers, the Jewish pamphlets, the Shakespearean collection. Survey of the University College Hospital photographic collection (800 items).

September 2016 – March 2017: Paper Conservation Intern
In charge of conservation of several prints, mainly large poster formats and a 2.5m landscape view, from the “damaged prints” folder prior to reintegration in the collections. Diverse treatments according to the objects including surface cleaning, washing, light bleaching, repairs, lining, digital infills, mounting and corresponding conservation records in the museum’s database. Loan assessments for the Coins and Medals department (paper currency).

July 2016: Paper Conservation Intern
Full time internship programme including visits, lectures and bench work carried out mainly on architectural drawings and architecture reprographic materials, such as tracing paper, diazotypes, and Vandyke prints.

The Stanley Kubrick Archive, London

August 2016: Paper Conservation Volunteer
Condition report on the water damaged, mouldy Kubrick’s “Dr Strangelove” press clippings folder. Comprehensive assessment and photographic documentation.

Karen Zukor Art Conservation, Oakland, California

November to December 2017: Post-Graduate Paper Conservation Intern
Full treatment of several objects: light bleaching of a photo-chemically stained Picasso etching from the Vollard suite; washing and flattening of an original watercolour by Charles Marion Russell; cross-linked pressure-sensitive tape residue removal and washing of a 1916 Henri Laurens lithograph; cleaning and tide-line reduction on a Johnny Cash autograph sticker; cleaning, washing and repairs, including infills and in-painting on a large Lee Kelly acrylic on paper painting; and surface cleaning, consolidation and tear repairs on mid-1980s iron-gall ink archival documents. Also, surface cleaning of 17 large maps in preparation for flattening and repair including dextrose-coated cloth ones and cyanotypes.

September 2016: Paper Conservation Intern
Full treatment on a very large watercolour architectural drawing, including surface cleaning, washing, lining, infills and retouching for University of California at Santa Cruz; and adhesive removal and hinging of a very large Roy Lichtenstein original. Partial work on several objects, including light bleaching on prints, namely by Durer and Rembrandt, lining and infills on a movie poster and toned infill on a Japanese woodblock print. Co-consultation work and condition assessment for the Gagosian Gallery in San Francisco.
